Fall Inspired Dollar Tree Sign Makeover

One of my favorite things to do is repurpose Dollar Tree items. I bought this Happy Harvest sign from Dollar Tree because I knew that I wanted to use my Cricut Maker to create a fall bucket list inspired block.

In order to do this, I took the bow off and peeled off the piece of paper that read ‘Happy Harvest’.

I sanded the block so that it was nice and smooth for painting.

I covered the block with mod podge and let dry before painting the block with a few coats of white paint. I did this in order to ensure that the block was as smooth as possible in order to place the vinyl on top of it.

After the paint dried, I applied the fall-themed SVG that I created.

I designed the SVG in Adobe Illustrator and printed it using my Cricut Maker. You can purchase the SVG here.
